James Montier
James Montier is Managing Director, Fundamental Research and Performance at ACR. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 15 years on the asset allocation team at GMO. At ACR, his responsibilities include publishing leading research, co-leading the firm’s fundamental reporting, performance, and attribution initiatives, and working closely with ACR’s Co-CIOs and investment team to support disciplined, unbiased investment decision-making. Since beginning his career in 1992, James has served as a Global Strategist at several leading investment banks, including Société Générale and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He is the author of four books on value investing and behavioral finance, including the bestselling The Little Book of Behavioral Investing. James has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Durham and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
